Do you set personal goals for yourself?

Curiosity encourages you to explore. Determination encourages you to act. Discipline keeps you moving.

And none of those necessarily requires a formally established goal.

There is more than one way to move forward in life.

Interesting, I find I do better with at least some short term goals like remembering to do the chores that keep life functional but you’ve made me think about how I handlelong term goals.

You may have just uncovered my problem! 😂 The moment I call something a goal, I’ve added a layer of pressure that wasn’t there five minutes ago.

I suppose my mind operates more like the Eisenhower Matrix. Urgent, not urgent, important, not important. Some things need my attention, others can be delegated, eliminated, or simply have their place in the day.

Apparently, I can manage the responsibilities of life just fine, as long as nobody asks me to call them goals! 😂

I appreciate your perspective. You’ve given me something to think about, too!
