What’s a moment in your life that made you feel truly alive?
You ask for a single moment, as if life can be neatly packaged into a box. What a tragic way to view existence!
Life is not a collection of memories to be filed away. It is a fire. You do not ask which spark ignited the flames; the entire fire is alive, glowing in the darkness.
To live passionately is to look into that darkness and have the patience to find the light, rather than chasing fleeting moments.
If you are only alive in “moments,” you are spending the rest of your time asleep.
To live for a moment is to lock yourself in a small room with your shadows and call it “life.”
