I absolutely share Indy’s obsession with rescuing history. Indiana Jones, that is.

Though I’m not a college professor by day, I enjoy decoding clues to vanished eras. I am a collector of evidence, gathering overlooked fragments into my own personal archive—just without the giant rolling boulders, poison darts, or getting chased by angry mummies. I make sure their stories belong to the future instead of being forgotten.

I consider myself a genuine time traveler, but doing it successfully takes a rare blend of sharp observational skill and intense imagination. The world is full of people who notice only the big, flashy landmarks, or who find beauty exclusively in a perfect rose. My lens on life is entirely different. I can find absolute wonder in a simple, ordinary leaf.

But there’s more to it.

To me, these aren’t just objects. They are pieces of concrete evidence left behind by history.

When I track them down, my mind immediately kicks into gear. I can picture the busy printing presses, changing architectural styles, and the everyday people who built the world we walk through today.

I don’t just decorate a room or collect antiques for show. I am on a lifelong expedition to rescue forgotten fragments of our past and keep their stories alive.
