What do you love now, that you hated when you were younger?

As kids, we chase whatever makes our taste buds happy in the moment. The future never gets a vote.

Then the years pass. At first, your body whispers, “Maybe a little less of this… maybe a little more of that.” You ignore it.

The whispers become conversations. The conversations become warnings.

Eventually your gut says, “Fine. Since you’re not listening, I’ll make the decision for you.”

Funny how the foods I spent years avoiding are now the ones that make me feel the best. Growing up isn’t just changing your age… sometimes it’s changing what your body teaches you to love.

So, what do I love now that I hated when I was younger?

Vegetables.

Turns out, they were never the problem. I just hadn’t grown into them yet.
