Daily writing prompt
What books do you want to read?

I think there are sixty-six of them.

Some are poetry.
Some are history.
Some are letters written from prison cells and dusty roads—
and enough wisdom to keep you coming back for more.

I have read these books many times.

Each time, I am a different reader.

The stories don’t stay put in time.
They wait for you to change… and then they speak again.

Same words.

But light has a way of returning—
not all at once,
just enough to see what I couldn’t before.

They meet you where you are now,
not where you were when you first read them.

It doesn’t repeat itself—it reveals itself.
Like walking past the same old oak tree in different seasons—
still the tree,
but never the same sight.

So yes.
My reading list is long.
Ancient.
And still wildly relevant.

All sixty-six.
Cover to cover.
Again.

The first time doesn’t “count” anymore.
It counts forever—
it just isn’t the finish line.
